The
Rochester, NY, Chapter of the
National Association of Credit Management (NACM)
Our
local parent is the Rochester Credit & Financial Management
Association, a member organization of the commercial and retail
clients of The Credit Bureau. In addition to the financial
support provided directly to our educational groups, The Credit
Bureau also funds many of the costs for seminars and educational
ventures. The NACM New York chapter is one of about 60 regional
organizations that make up the NACM national structure. Many of our
members have been active on a national basis in contributing to the
credit profession and often belong to the following:
CFDD
(Credit and Financial Development Division) CFDD is
dedicated to the education of the credit professional through
promoting and advancing interest in the fields of credit
and finance. The national NACM organization also supports
CFDD directly by structure and the Rochester group is over
65 years old. Currently, CFDD coordinates the Credit Administration
Program (CAP) and Advanced Credit Administrative Program
(ACAP) that leads to certification of competency at a national
level for credit professionals.
